Founded in 2014 by Kent De Mond and Niko Dalman after relocating from San Diego to Atlanta to pursue careers as stunt performers, the company began with handmade Christmas light signs posted around Smyrna and quickly grew through word of mouth across the metro Atlanta area.
Both founders are former NCAA All-American divers who went on to perform professionally around the world, diving and flipping from heights up to 100 feet. That same focus on precision, safety, and execution now goes into every lighting installation.
Today, Y’Allywood Lights serves more than 150 repeat holiday lighting clients while also expanding into patio string lighting, landscape lighting, and exterior services.
Outside of the business, Kent and Niko continue to work as stunt professionals on productions including Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, and The Walking Dead.
